Tami Ordoñez, M.A. Ed.
Driven by an insatiable desire for knowledge and an adventurous spirit, Tami Ordoñez has spent a lifetime studying how we (human beings) learn and how we move our bodies.
Tami is a renaissance woman. She is a life-long learner and educator.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in education from Touro University of California and a Waldorf Teaching Certificate from Rudolf Steiner College.
As a dedicated educator, she has brought this knowledge and experience into classrooms in Waldorf Schools, Charter Schools, and Homeschool enrichment programs. She works privately with students in a variety of capacities including tutoring math, writing, science, and history (Grades 1-12), helping students organize themselves and develop better study skills, and prepare for big tests like the SAT, AP tests, and even ISEE and SSAT (independent school admissions tests).
Now she is beginning to share the expertise she has gained as a life-long educator with parents and other educators as a coach and mentor.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Tami has a passion for dancing, hiking, camping, yoga, traveling to visit her adult children and grandchild(ren), and meditation.
